Spectral publishes SPARTAN at the International Test Conference

Spectral's paper on SPARTAN, a spectral and information theoretic approach to partial scan, was published at the International Test Conference.

SPARTAN introduced the core idea Spectral still builds on: combining digital frequency spectrum analysis with information entropy to select which flip-flops to scan and where to insert test points, rather than relying on simple probability alone.

The approach was granted as U.S. Patent 8,164,345 in 2012 and remains the mathematics behind Logic TPI today.
